Dr. Liang was born in Taiwan and raised in Houston, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. This is where his interest in sports injuries developed while playing rugby.
Dr. Liang received his Doctorate from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas where he was involved with the Sports Council—an organization that is dedicated to conservative treatment of sports injuries. He also completed his Nursing degree and his plan is to become a Nurse Practitioner, another tool in his “tool box” to help his patients.
Dedicated to continuing education, he keeps abreast of the field’s latest research innovations, as well as attending post graduate seminars in evidence based medicine, diagnostic procedures, orthopedics, radiology, and treatment methods in sports medicine.
Dr. Liang previously served as the team Doctor for several local area rugby clubs including Arlington Mavericks and Dallas Athletic Rugby Club. He is currently involved with several local soccer and lacrosse teams.
As a Designated Doctor for the Department of Worker’s Compensation, Dr. Liang is certified by the Texas Department of Insurance to perform impairment ratings.
With 3 kids playing 5 different sports, Dr. Liang keeps himself busy on weekends keeping his kids injury free.
